To Mend and Defend
This is the start of my favorite arc in Season 3. Not only do we get a Megabyte voice-over, we get a great mixture of comedy and seriousness. The plot is advanced, yet you can still enjoy some old-fashioned Game-playing.
This episode is the one that finally breaks the cliff-hanger of S2. Not only that, but in this episode there's a fun Evil Dead Game. Enzo gets to work on his being a Guardian, Dot gets to wear a dress, and Mouse gets to work on her l33t zip-boarding skillz. Not bad, eh?
This episode also contains one of the most entertaining scenes in a very entertaining series:
Dot: What kind of sick creature gets enjoyment out of playing this sorta Game?
[Dot and Enzo turn to glare at the camera.]
Dot - And here's Dot doing a "look of disapproval" upon Enzo.
Twins - There's nothing quite like a pair of twins working together to achieve their goals.
User Vision - And now, a view from the other side.
He's Here! - The sprites, before they reboot, notice that the User has arrived.
User - The User's avatar in this particular Game.
Sprites - A nice view of the sprites after they've rebooted.
Surrender - Surrender your power and will to him!
Reflection - The people laugh when she says "Burn."
Racing - Remember those l33t zip-boarding skillz I mentioned earlier?
Screen - Now this is how overhead maps should look.
Legs - He's got legs, he knows how to use them!
Doctors - I find it interesting that being in the medical profession in Mainframe gives you a red icon, while being in the medical profession in the SuperComputer gives you a chunky blue icon.
Mainframe - A lovely shot of the city itself.
Glomp! - AndrAIa loves Enzo. A lot.
A Grave - May they rest in peace.
Sibling Rivalry - A little rivalry fosters a healthy competitive spirit, right?
Glare - The above-mentioned really great scene.
The D - Once more, the D boldly sacrifices itself.
Look Up - And, here's where the cliff-hanger was broken.
Blush - Awww! Isn't it cute?
"Groovy" - When in doubt, say your catch phrase.
